It’s no secret that HTC is planning on an imminent release on their Pro 7 devices. But thanks to Amazon.co.uk which has gone ahead and put up an ordering page for the device, we know it will be available on the 20th of this month. That gives you a little less than three weeks to put that lose change together to pick up this Windows Phone 7 powered device, and believe us, you will need it as the device will run you a cool £449.99 off contract. Thankfully, Amazon is offering free shipping if the address happens to be within the UK.

A quick update on the specs, the device weighs 6.53 ounces with the battery which works out to be 186 grams. The screen size is 3.6 inches with a resolution of 480 x 800 on a WVGA display. The processor is a 1GHz CPU with 512 megabytes of ROM and 576 megabytes of RAM. There is a 3.5 mm stereo audio jack along with a microUSB port that will support USB 2.0.

Sensors include G-Sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor and an ambient light sensor. On to wireless features, there is 3G HSDPA with speeds of up to 7.2 megabytes for download and 2 megabytes of upload. GPRS, EDGE and WI-FI 802.11b/g/n all come standard and of course Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and A2DP for wireless headsets. The 5 megapixel camera on the back will support 720p HD video shooting.

Last but not least, internal storage is 8GB with expansion of up to 32GB thanks to microUSB and HTC has gone through the trouble of including the HTC Hub on the device which provides some cool animations to stock, weather, photos and sound as well as downloadable apps and games.

HTC is becoming artistic with their smartphones. The HTC 7 Mozart has some special features besides just having the ability to make calls and compute data. Take a look at what the new HTC 7 Mozart offers here in this quick article to see some features of this handset.

The HTC 7 Mozart is quick and sports the new Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system. The smartphone is also good looking with a unique back cover of aluminum. The people at HTC used an assymetrical design to complement the usual plastic back door. The total size of the Mozart is slightly on the large size, but not enough to keep it from being shoved into a pocket.

The wireless connectivity of the HTC 7 Mozart is admirable. It can handle all the modes of Wi-Fi, including the fastest “N” mode. EDGE, GPRS, bluetooth and 3G data networks are all supported. There is no WiMaX or FM radio. The bluetooth version is 2.1, which is under the much faster and more modern 3.x0 bluetooth version.

The camera on the HTC 7 Mozart is highly competitive. It is eight megapixels of picture taking power. HTC was generous and gave the camera a Xenon flash, which is superior to the usual LED flash. The video clips produced by the Mozart are good enough to be called high definition. The format is up to 720p standards. There is no secondary camera for video conferencing.

The software running the show for the HTC 7 Mozart is the Windows Phone 7 system from Microsoft. This was released a few months ago with a limited amount of fanfare. It works without lag on this HTC smartphone. It has unique panels that lead the user to where the information is by cutting off words. It is equipped with social networking skills as well as the usual suite of Microsoft software like Internet Explorer, Word or Excel. The “hub” approach of giving a central location to everything was implemented with Windows Phone 7. It beats the last version in the respect of being able to reach deeper into the programs with less effort.

The SLCD screen is 3.7 inches on the HTC 7 Mozart. It is of average clarity, compared to other high end smartphones. Look for it on the Orange network.

HTC HD7 is just one of the five new launches from HTC featuring Microsoft’s new operating system for mobile phones, Windows Phone 7, but this is one of the most special phones. It is so because of the vast list of features that HTC have equipped this phone with to make it one of the best Windows phones in the market today.

The HTC HD7 has a huge 4.3 inch screen and it is so large that one could mistake it for a small netbook. The screen boasts a resolution of 480 x 800 and images appear life like. HTC has not just given this phone a huge screen, but to complement it has given it SRS surround sound feature as well, to give the complete cinematic experience possible in a phone. The camera is 5 megapixels and has auto focus and dual LED flash. It can also do 720p HD video recording complete with built-in scene modes.

The phone plays a number of popular video formats like .mp4, .m4v and .wmv, which means that there is no need of converting a movie before playing it on the phone. Just copy it and play. To complete the great cinematic experience, the HTC HD7 comes with a 1230 mAh, which offers more than adequate battery life for watching an entire movie on the go. Connectivity options are taken care of by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 and 3G. European models will be equipped with 8 GB of memory space. It has a powerful 1 GHZ processor and 576 MB of RAM.

HTC HD7 will be launched in the UK shortly at very competitive prices. A number of service providers are also offering the phone mouth-watering contract prices. O2 has announced a £40 per month plan on a two year deal from among its line of HTC phones.

In fact, these devices are so hot that HTC was completely surprised by the fact that their devices we running low on stocks. In order to provide the products that the market needs, HTC has acquired new production facilities that would allow them to make more devices as needed. According to the executive director of HTC UK and Ireland, the Taiwan based manufacturer is catching up with the demands for new HTC smart phones.

The device that has most recently been low on availability is the HTC Desire. While the product is not completely absent from the shelves, it has been reported that HTC still needs to make more of the impressive Android device.

The Desire comes with a 3.7 inch AMOLED capacitive touch screen display which provides users with 480 x 800 pixels of resolution. It shows images and videos clearly, a great choice for users who are picky about the visual quality of the handset. It also has a 5 mega pixel camera that can take great quality images and videos. Running it all would Qualcomm’s Snapdragon CPU at 1GHz, this processor provides enough speed and power to handle even the most resource intensive of applications without much problems.

In other HTC news, the Taiwan based company is keeping quiet in regards to the Apple emergency conference held a couple of weeks ago. A spokesperson for HTC did defend the antenna technology used by the company. With HTC’s impressive track record with all of their devices –and the fact that no HTC handset requires a casing to be used properly, it is pretty safe to say that whatever accusations that Apple had are most definitely unfounded.

HTC is also currently preparing new handsets for the upcoming Windows Phone 7 operating system, it has been rumored earlier that the Mondrian and the Mozart will be among the first HTC made WP7 smart phones.

For a while now, HTC has been focused on manufacturing top tier smart phones running the Google Android operating system. Their products have been the darling of many people in the Android community, and this has contributed to their popularity in the mobile phone industry. Now that the Windows Phone 7 platform is on the horizon, it seems that the Taiwanese mobile phone maker is shifting their focus just in time for the holiday season.

Signs of Microsoft powered HTC smart phones were found on the XML data which comes with current company specifications. Specifically, there are two mobile devices which are rumored to run the Windows Phone 7 operating system. The first model is called “Mozart” and the second is named “Mondrian”.

What gave the surprise away is the fact that these two mobile phone lines were found to sport the Microsoft Internet Explorer Mobile 7 which is packed in with the Windows Phone 7 OS. If so, then the duo is likely to have quite a capable hardware setup.

Speaking of hardware, the actual specs are still a mystery for now, though there are speculations as to a few of the items included in the Mondrian and Mozart’s spec list. Apparently, there will be no QWERTY keyboard included with the mobile phones and it will be restricted to touch input only. Both will most probably be Bluetooth ready, so file transfers and headset connections are easy to setup.

Reports say that the Mondrian is quite a powerhouse. It is said to carry a 1.3 GHz Qualcomm processor and a spacious 4.3 inch touch screen. Would be film makers would also enjoy using the HD recording capabilities of the device.

HTC’s goal is quite clear. They look to be after dominating the whole holiday season with both of these Windows Phone 7 devices as well as the HTC Gold model coming in November.
