New HTC Nexus One Photos, Gets FCC Nod

Google Nexus OneHTC Corporation has a strong pedigree when it comes to manufacturing high quality and industry standard mobile phones in the world. The mobile company, based in Taiwan, has been enjoying media attention of late. The reason for this is the Nexus which the Asian mobile giant will soon release to the market. It does look like the phone is the long awaited phone from Google and it does appear that the pictures have been to FCC and have received approvals from them.

The approval from the FCC shows that the device received the HSPA 900/1700 2100 MHz with a Quad Band EDGE Connectivity option as well, a Wi-Fi feature, addition of a MicroSD memory card in event of the need for additional space and Bluetooth 2.1+ EDR feature among others.

Taking a look at the likely direction the mobile handset is heading to, rumors have it that AT&T may be warming up to welcome it, but Engadget does not seem to agree with this rumor. According to them, the story is far from correct. Even though the story could not be authenticated, subscribers of the Telecom Company can look forward to a mobile device based on the Android technology, though it may not eventually be the Google phone.

Google’s refusal to confirm or deny that the Nexus is the device the mobile telecom world has been eagerly awaiting only fuels speculations surrounding the phone. The company emphasized that mobile phones recently found in the hands of members of staff were for testing purposes and actually sent by one of their partners. Even though Google failed to confirm if the phones were theirs or not, the fact is the much anticipated device is a reality after all.

At least the nod given to the new Nexus One photos by FCC is a clear indication that sooner or later the whole rumor surrounding the phone and even rumors surrounding Google will be cleared up.
